20 Halloween (2018) -What Does Michael Say to Allyson?
One of the things that makes Michael Myers so terrifying is his absolute silence--he hasn't spoken a word since killing his sister on Halloween night, 1963. What's even more chilling is that Dr. Loomis, his personal psychologist for years, comments on this by revealing that Michael chooses not to speak for some unknown reason.
During Michael's rampage on Halloween night 2018, Dr. Sartain is determined to reunite Michael with Laurie, and uses Allyson as a pawn to do so. In bargaining with Dr. Sartain, Allyson reveals that Michael spoke to her, and that she will reveal his exact words in exchange for her freedom. After the events of Halloween Ends, Michael's exact words will never be known, though.
19 Child’s Play (1988) - Everything Chucky Says to Andy Before the Big Reveal

When Andy is gifted Chucky on his sixth birthday, he is elated to have the most popular toy in the market in his possession, coping with his father's absence and a mother constantly working to keep them afloat.
When people start dying around Andy, though, audiences are torn between whether to believe his accounts that Chucky is responsible, or believe that Andy is behind the killings. Andy claims Chucky speaks to him day and night, but the exact words are never revealed to audiences, up until Chucky himself comes to life.

17 La La Land (2016) - Why Did Mia and Sebastian Break Up a Final Time?
Mia and Sebastian's relationship did not start off on the right foot. They initially couldn't stand each other, and their eventual relationship was cemented through a first kiss while Mia was still in a relationship. As the relationship unfolded, the couple argued more often than not about Sebastian not being present for Mia during important life moments. The last time these two have a conversation, Sebastian encourages Mia to pursue acting wholeheartedly. In La La Land's final musical sequence, we see a montage of what could have been had Mia and Sebastian stayed together.
But the bigger question is, what drove them apart a final time? Was it Mia traveling to Europe for her big break? Is it Sebastian becoming engulfed by his desire to open a jazz bar? Did they simply grow apart? These two did demonstrate an undeniable love for each other, and their problems could have been solved through better communication.

16 The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006) - What Did Hoyt Do to Bailey When He Held Her Captive?

Carol is both a touching and heartbreaking story of two women born in an oppressive era. When Carol meets Therese in a department store, it's love at first sight, despite their former engagements. The women start a passionate affair that they must keep secret from all those around them, and ultimately have to part ways when Carol is made to choose between Therese and her daughter.

14 Gone Girl (2014) - Who Was Actually Telling the Truth?

The movie opens with Nicholas' narration, showing his marriage deteriorating due to his extra-marital affair and the couple's growing aggression towards each other.
While all the clues point to Nicholas as the culprit behind Amy's disappearance, the perspective shifts to show how Amy orchestrated her disappearance to implicate Nicholas as revenge for his infidelity and general rejection. The film ends with the couple staying together after Amy reveals she's pregnant, and Nicholas finally submitting to their relationship's inescapable chaos. Audiences never get any closure on who was telling the truth, if either of them.

In what's Joker's biggest plot twist, audiences discover that Sophie and Arthur never had a romance, or were even friends aside from casual elevator banter. As Arthur stands in front of Sophie's doorway, letting the realization sink in, the next shot cuts to the sound of police car sirens, and Sophie is never seen again. What did Arthur do to Sophie as he stood in front of her doorway, watching the terrified woman make sense of his allegation of their relationship?

What makes it even more tragic is that her daughter, Allyson, is only a few feet away from Karen as it all happens.
